# ByteVerify

> A live 3D face-to-government-ID match as a pay-per-call API for software and AI agents. Returns verified / failed / expired and deletes the facial and document inputs afterwards. Paid with x402 (USDC on base); no account required.

ByteVerify is operated by Byte Federal, LLC, a licensed U.S. money services business. It is a supplemental risk signal for use before an irreversible step, not identity proofing: it does not validate documents against issuer records, resolve who a person is, or screen watchlists.
